Nautical Halloween Decorations from Dept 56

I live on the rocky New England coastline and love to incorporate haunted lighthouses and shipwrecks into my decorations for Halloween. The Dept 56 Snow Village has a wonderfully spooky Shipwreck Lighthouse that I've added to my Halloween miniature village. It has the tall tower with a victorian shape. It measures a large 9" x 8.5" x 12.5" so it will make quite a statement in any village scene. The lighthouse light also is lit. So it creates a eerie scene in darkness.

I usually buy my Dept 56 Halloween Village figurines on ebay. The sellers there are great at finding bargains and then selling figurines at low prices. When you're decorating, the costs of celebrating each holiday can really add up. But I generally save 30% or 40% on each Dept 56 piece that I buy on ebay. The auction system lets you watch the bidding and see just how popular an item is there. Many times several sellers will have the exact same piece, so there's lots of competiton to keep the prices down. If you find a seller that you like that specializes in Dept 56, you can contact them and tell them what you want. They then keep their eye open for the item. If they find it, sometimes they contact you directly.
